About Tracey Ebbs
Tracey Ebbs is a relative latecomer to the art world. Having been told at school that she had no talent, Tracey abandoned all artistic pursuits for over 40 years.
That all changed in late 2022 when she accompanied her mother on a Beginners Watercolours class. There she fell in love with the medium and discovered a creative side she didn't know she had.
Since then she has been making up for lost time and has explored lots of different genres and mediums.
Although she still loves her watercolours, she has also introduced penwork in to her repertoire as she enjoys the intricate details and textures it can achieve.
Tracey's work reflects her passion for wildlife. She not only creates lifelike animal portraits but has also developed a unique style of whimsical wildlife illustrations that emphasise the quirky and fun side of life.
She lives in North Bucks and has exhibited widely across Buckinghamshire, Bedfordshire and Oxfordshire. She was delighted to be voted in the top 3 most popular artists at Thame Art Crawl in 2024.
Tracey was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis in 2006 and firmly believes that her art is a significant factor in maintaining her physical and mental wellbeing.
